CBT Motorcycle Course For Novice Riders
A1 permits you to ride a scooter or small motorbike, and ride as a passenger on a pillion in the event that you are 17 years old or older.
Two days of instruction without any tests. It's a great way to get started with riding, focusing on reviewing the fundamental components of a bike and slow control exercises.
Compulsory Basic Training (CBT)
The CBT is a required course for all novice riders. It usually takes a whole day to complete. If you are able to achieve a satisfactory level at the completion of the course, your instructor will issue you the DL196 certificate of successful completion.
In this class, you will learn the fundamentals of operating on a motorcycle. You will be supervised by a knowledgeable instructor throughout the course of the day. Additionally, you will be offered a short theoretical session to teach you about the road code, the rules of the road, and safe lane positioning. You'll be taught how to check and maintain your bike, and also how to carry a pillion (if necessary).
The next stage of the CBT is practical riding on a site. Your instructor will outline a safe area for you to practice your skills, beginning slowly and performing basic safety checks, moving away and stopping the motorcycle and braking properly. During this time, your trainer will be in radio contact with you and will assist until they are satisfied that you are able to complete these exercises at a safe level.
In this section of the training, you'll be introduced to different types of roads and traffic conditions. You will learn how to safely navigate roundabouts, traffic lights and one-way streets. Also, you will be taught the fundamentals of cornering figures of eight, and emergency stops.
This is the final part of the CBT and your instructor will take you on a variety roads. You will be in constant contact with your instructor, who will be monitoring your progress. If you are able to demonstrate your ability to ride a motorbike in traffic and handle different road conditions, then you will be awarded with a CBT DL196 certificate.
CBT has been around for a while, but it is still an important part of motorcycling. We have seen improvements in the statistics of accidents since its introduction. It is important to choose a school that offers comprehensive CBT to ensure that you are prepared and ready for the world of two-wheeled riding.
kategorię a1 towards obtaining an A1 license is passing the motorcycle test in theory. It is a 40-minute test which tests your understanding of traffic laws, road rules signs and general safety. It is highly recommended to read the Highway Code before taking this test to maximize your chances of passing.
Following your CBT, you will start your first module of training. You will be riding a bicycle that is suitable to your particular category of licence. If you're aiming for A1, the bike will be one of the Honda Monkey. The course will provide plenty of off-road balance as well as control practice to prepare you for the required maneuvers in the module 1 test. You will also visit a DVSA test centre to familiarize yourself with the marking procedures and procedures that are used for each test.
After completing your training, you can take your motorcycle module 1 test at a DVSA approved test centre. You will require your CBT certificate along with a valid driving licence or passport with photo.
After passing your Module 1, you'll then be able to take your Module 2 practical test, which will take place on the roads. The examiner will lead you on a short drive around the area and you'll have 35 minutes to complete it on your own. The examiner will assess your ability to multitask while following road rules, and will ask you to demonstrate good driving skills.
If you pass both Module 1 and Module 2 After passing both modules, you will be able to enjoy the freedom of an A1 light licence. This will permit you to ride a bike up to 125cc, without a learner licence, and will not require you to display your L-plates. Additionally an A1 licence will permit you to carry a pillion passenger and will stop you from having to repeat your CBT every two years. This is an excellent alternative for those who want to experience the thrill of motorcycling. The next step following an A1 license is the unrestricted A licence, which requires a driver's licence that is fully loaded.

Module 2 Practical Test
Module 2 is the practical portion of your motorcycle licence. After passing Module 1 and the theory test, you are now ready to take Module 2. This test will give you an A1 license that permits you to drive a motorcycle up to 125cc and with power up to 11 BHP. You can also take a ride on motorways and transport a passenger.
The Mod 2 test is a test of riding skills that includes about 10 minutes of independent riding. The examiner will be following you along a predetermined route with varying traffic and road conditions. The route will be crowded with intersections, roundabouts and dual carriageways which means you'll have to be able to ride in a variety of conditions.
Module 2 will test your ability to be observant, anticipate and navigate through busy roads. This is vital as it enables you to make quick decisions while driving on the road. For instance, if driving on the road and see a car swerving towards your path, you'll have to be able to react quickly.
You'll also have to show good control at a slow speed and be capable of pulling away smoothly, stop with confidence and maintain speed. You should also be able demonstrate effective braking, and execute an uncontrolled U-turn when required.
In the end you'll be tested on your ability to signal and change gear. You will be asked to signal prior to overtaking another vehicle, or when you exit an intersection, and to change gears whenever necessary.
If you've passed both the parts of the Module 2 test, you'll be sent your A1 license via mail. You'll be able to ride your new bike through the countryside or commute to work in style and ease. Your brand new A1 license is your ticket to freedom and adventure, whether you ride an ultramoto or a scooter.
Licensing
This course is intended for those who have already completed Module 1 and 2 and wish to enhance their riding skills and bond with their bike. It will require more advanced training and exercises, such as leaning the bike in order to manage it at higher speeds. It also covers methods for avoiding hazards on the roads, as well as high speed cornering and braking. You will spend 6 hours on the roads with a Ride Coach and you can choose your own bike for this class.
This is an excellent option for novice drivers who aren't certain that a full licence is what they need. It comes with all the training you need, including the Module 1 and 2 tests and the off-road maneuvers for your Cat A licence, so it provides everything you need to get out on the road without having to take the theory test first.
You will begin on smaller bikes to get comfortable with your riding posture and your balance before you move up to a larger bike in your class. This is usually 500cc motorbike. You will have your own bike for this class and you are able to use your own helmet or you can purchase one from us.
